More Unique Attacks

A mod that adds many unique attacks to weapons without them and changes vanilla unique attacks to be cooler!

A mod that adds unique attacks to multiple weapons from almost every weapon category!

The Wing of Astel shoots magic when doing a heavy attack, and the Godskin Peeler has a running heavy that no other weapon has.
My goal with this mod is to make certain weapons stand out more by giving them attacks like those, to make them more unique.
I also wanted this mod to be more grounded than my previous mods. I wanted it the mod to feel like it should be in vanilla.
I used The12thAvenger’s ERClipGenerator to make completely new movesets that do not affect vanilla movesets.

Here’s a list of every change made:

| [ DAGGERS ] |
Parrying Dagger [a70 – NEW]:
– Now has a unique heavy attack that quickly blocks, then attacks.
(Faster version of Carian Knight’s Sword/Lazuli Glintstone Sword heavy attacks)
– Right after raising the weapon to block, there is a brief moment that has parry frames.
– Keep in mind that the Parrying Dagger doesn’t have much guard negation or guard boost.
You shouldn’t use this purely to block.
– Damage unchanged.
Great Knife / Celebrant’s Sickle / Ivory Sickle [a100]:
– Increased speed of startups for the unique 2 handed heavies.
– Increased distance traveled when locked on for the first 2 handed heavy.
– Damage unchanged.
Crystal Knife [a75 – NEW]:
– Now has a unique heavy attack that forms crystals on the weapon, then slams the floor,
shattering it. (Faster version of Mace heavy attacks)
– The heavies will shoot small crystal shards, uncharged shooting 1 and charged shooting 3.
– Charged Heavy’s damage is higher than other charged heavies but only if you can land all 3
crystal shards and the main attack.
Black Knife [a71 – NEW]:
– Added Blade of Death effect to all heavy attacks except for the Uncharged first heavy.
– Attacks with the Blade of Death effect increases the range, and adds a Damage over Time but
decreases base attack power.
– Attacks with the Blade of Death effect can cancel in to the Weapon Art: Blade of Death
faster.
Blade of Calling [a73 – NEW]:
– Added Blade of Gold effect to all heavy attacks except for the Uncharged first heavy.
– Attacks with the Blade of Gold effect increases the range, and adds a short-lived
projectile that knocks enemies over but decreases base attack power.
– Attacks with the Blade of Gold effect can cancel in to the Weapon Art: Blade of Gold
faster.
Cinquedea [a76 – NEW]:
– Now has a unique heavy attack that uses beastly power to stomp and slam the ground.
– These unique heavy attacks are only for the 1 handed moveset, to incentivize using Beast
Incantations along with the Cinquedea.

| [ STRAIGHT SWORDS ] |
Cane Sword / Broadsword [a110]:
– The unique crouch/rolling attacks cancel much faster into light attacks, powerstanced
and offhanded attacks included.
– The unique heavy attacks now have hyper armor and increased distance traveled when charged.
– The unique heavy attacks also cancel into light attacks faster as well.
– Damage unchanged.
Noble’s Slender Sword [a101]:
– Now uses a101.tae, which gives it a quick stab heavy attack, faster than all other
straight sword heavy attacks.
– Damage unchanged.
Miquellan Knight Sword / Golden Epitaph [a112]:
– The unique heavy attacks now shoot rings of light when charged.
– The rings of light do extremely small damage, but boasts high poise damage and stun.
– The first charged heavy cancels into ashes of war faster.
– This moveset is now also applied to the Golden Epitaph.
Carian Knight Sword / Lazuli Glintstone Sword [a113]:
– The unique heavy attacks now conjure a magic greatsword that charges up to increase the
range of the attack. (Does not increase damage.)
– The heavy attacks charge up 3 stages. The second heavy starts at stage 2.
– Each time the stage increases, you take less stamina damage when you block.
Crystal Sword / Rotten Crystal Sword [a77 – NEW]:
– Now has a new unique 2 handed heavy attack that spins around and summons crystal bullets
when slashing. (Based off of a spell Rennalla casts.)
– Charged heavies summon 5 crystals while uncharged summons 3.
– The crystal bullets have a delay before firing, unless the enemy walks into the bullets.
– The damage of the initial slash is reduced.
Regalia of Eochaid [a78 – NEW]:
– Now has a new unique heavy attack that moves the blade with their will to slash in a large
sweeping area. (Faster version of the Crescent Moon Axe/Godrick’s Axe moveset)
– This attack increase the range of attacks slightly.
– Damage unchanged.

| [ GREATSWORDS ] |
Claymore [a125]:
– The unique 2 handed crouch attack and 2 handed first heavy, charged and uncharged,
cancel faster into the light attack.
– The idea is I wanted the Claymore to be just as much of a combo machine as the Knight’s GS/
Banished Knight’s Greatsword moveset.
– Damage unchanged.
Iron Greatsword [a79 – NEW]:
– Now has a unique heavy attack that approaches while charging. Meant to be similar to
the Iron Cleaver/Celebrant’s Cleaver moveset and the animation is similar to some of the
Leonine Misbegotten’s attacks.
– The heavy attacks approach at a faster rate when locked on to an enemy.
– Now also has a unique 2 handed crouch attack that half-swords the weapon and slams into
the ground quickly. (Faster version of the Omen Cleaver/Magma Wyrm Scalesword heavy attack)
– Damage unchanged.
Gargoyle’s Blackblade [a80 – NEW]:
– Now has a unique heavy attack that lunges forward and strikes twice with the hidden power
of the corpse wax. (Slower version of the Warhawk Talon’s moveset)
– The unique heavy attacks also apply a damage over time, but the base power of the attack is
decreased.
– The unique heavy attacks also have more range than usual.
Inseperable Sword [a81 – NEW]:
– The unique 2 handed light attacks now have a holy visual tracer effect.
– Light attacks 1 and 2, 3 and 4, chain together faster, but 2 and 3 chain slower.
– Light attacks 2 and 4 also have worse recovery than before.
– Damage unchanged.
Marais Executioner Sword [a130]:
– Changed its unique heavy attacks into telekinetic attacks! Specifically, the 1 Handed
2nd charged heavy, 2 handed 1st charged and uncharged heavy, and 2 handed 2nd charged heavy
all use telekinesis to wield the weapon.
– Many thanks to cleverraptor6 for the retargeted animations from his Marais Dancing Blade
mod.
– Damage is mostly unchanged except its slightly stronger for the 2 handed 2nd charged heavy,
since its a long commitment attack that you cant cancel until the end.
– A note: The 2 handed 1st Charged and Uncharged heavy is much easier to land if you don’t
lock-on and free aim slightly to the right, as the attack has a tendency to go right around
smaller or human sized enemies that are in close/mid range.
Alabaster Lord’s Sword [a82 – NEW]:
– Now has unique 1 handed heavy attacks that call upon gravity magic and stabs enemies when
the get pulled in.
– The first charged heavy spawns a Gravity Well that does small damage, but pull enemies
further than normal.
– The second charged heavy travels further when locked on.

| [ COLOSSAL SWORDS ] |
Zweihander [a83 – NEW]:
– Now has unique 2 handed light attacks that attack quicker using momentum and half-swording.
(Half-Swording is a technique when you grab the blade to get more leverage in a swing or
thrust.)
– Now has a unique 2 handed second heavy attack, a half-sword slash. Charge the attack to
thrust after the slash.

Watchdog’s Greatsword [a84 – NEW]:
– Now has unique heavy attacks that raise the sword upright for a while and swings down
deceptively and almost comically fast, similar to the way the Erdtree Burial Watchdogs
attack.
– Damage unchanged.
Royal Greatsword [a85 – NEW]:
– Now has the same 1 handed heavy attacks as the Greatsword (UGS).
– Now has unique 2 handed heavy attacks that leap forward and spin around to attack,
using attacks from Blaidd’s moveset.

Ruins Greatsword [a138]:
– Now has a gravity magic effect on the unique heavy attacks.
– Charged heavy attacks now have more hyperarmor and increased distance traveled.
– Damage unchanged.
Godslayer’s Greatsword [a86 – NEW]:
– The unique 2 handed light attacks now chain together faster. Startup and recovery is
unchanged, just how fast the light attacks cancel into each other.
– Now has unique 2 handed heavy attacks that dance and spin before attacking, using
animations from the Godskin Apostles.
– Many thanks to Blubber515 for the retargeted animations from the Player Animation

– The spinning of the weapon has a hitbox before the main attack that does small damage.
– A note: you are able the angle the startup spin attack to hit opponents easier.
Maliketh’s Black Blade [a87 – NEW]:
– Now has unique 1 handed heavy attacks that use Destined Death and animalistic acrobatics
to attack and retreat simultaneously!
– Maliketh’s animations cant be used for the Tarnished because of his abnormal skeleton,
so the Ancient Hero of Zamor’s animations fit just fine.
– Many thanks to Blubber515 for the retargeted animations from the Player Animation
Repository.
– Only the unique 1 handed charged heavy attacks have a Destined Death damage over time
effect.
– Base power of the charged heavy attacks reduced.
– A note: I know the second heavy attack is kinda hard to land but whatever it looks sick
Starscourge Greatswords [a832]:
– Now has unique two handed light attacks that attack ferociously and quickly (at least, for
two colossal swords).
– Uses the animations from the Ringed Knight Paired Greatswords from DS3, but speed up in
some places to match the speed of normal powerstanced UGS.

Estoc / Noble’s Estoc [a145]:
– The unique heavy attacks cancel into any right handed attack much faster than before.
– Increased distance traveled when locked on in a heavy attack.
– Damage Unchanged.
Frozen Needle [a147]:
– The needle bullet has doubled its speed and added slight homing.
– The unique heavy attacks can cancel into the uncharged heavy or the feint attack faster.
– Damage unchanged.

Great Epee [a151]:
– The unique heavy attacks can cancel into the uncharged heavy or the feint attack faster.
– Damage unchanged.
Dragon King’s Cragblade [a88 – NEW]:
– Now has unique running heavy attacks that have special effects.
– The unique running heavy attacks travel farther when locked on.
– Damage unchanged.

| [ CURVED SWORDS ] |
Bandit’s Curved Sword [a89 – NEW]:
– During heavy attacks, the window to cancel into a feint attack is much bigger, and can
be cancelled much earlier.
– Feint attacks have a small amount of I-Frames after the hitbox is over.
– Feint attack startup speed increased.
– Feint attacks can cancel into backstep attacks faster.
– Damage unchanged.
Flowing Curved Sword [a157]:
– The unique heavy attacks now have hyperarmor when about halfway through charging the
attack and while attacking.
– Damage unchanged.
Magma Blade [a91 – NEW]:
– Now has unique heavy attacks that jump and spray magma while attacking!
Based on an attack that Magma Blade wielding Man-Serpents do.
– Charged heavy attacks shower magma onto the ground which does small damage.
– First heavy attack damage very slightly lowered.
Eclipse Shotel [a92 – NEW]:
– Now has unique 1 handed heavy attacks that advance forward with malicious intent while
striking.
– Uses animations from the Black Knife Assassin.
– Many thanks to Blubber515 for the retargeted animations from the Player Animation
Repository.
– Damage unchanged.

| [ CURVED GREATSWORDS ] |
Dismounter [a90]:
– Now uses an unused heavy attack animation for the 2 handed first heavy attack that
raises the weapon overhead, than “flicking” the sword down. The animation is the same as
the Black Blade katana from Dark Souls 3. I used it because it also resembles an attack
that the Kaiden Sellsword do.
– The unique heavy attack can cancel faster into the uncharged attack, and has faster
starting and more hyperarmor.
– Damage unchanged.
Beastman’s Cleaver [a216]:
– Now has the same unique heavy attack as the Omen Cleaver, Magma Wyrm Scalesword, and
Butchering Knife.
– I’m not sure how this isn’t in vanilla, as the Beastman have an attack similar to this
that they use often.
– Damage unchanged.
Zamor Curved Sword [a215]:
– The unique light attacks now are faster in general. More specifically, the startup of the
first, second, and fourth light attack are faster, the 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th, chain
together faster, but 2nd to 3rd chain normally.
– Offhand attacks are unchanged except for the first attack, with a faster startup.
– Now has a unique 1 handed first heavy attack that runs and jumps forward to attack.
Using the Ancient Hero of Zamor animations.

Onyx Lord Greatsword [a82 – NEW]:
– Now has the same new unique heavy attacks as the Alabaster Lord’s Sword.

Serpentbone Blade [a165]:
– The unique heavy attacks now travel farther when locked on.
– Added a poison effect to the charged heavy attacks.
– After a charged heavy attack, the weapon gains a very short poison buildup buff.
– Damage unchanged.
Meteoric Ore Blade [a166]:
– Added gravity magic effects to the unique heavy attacks.
– Damage unchanged.
Dragonscale Blade [a93 – NEW]:
– Now has the Meteoric Ore Blade heavy attacks.
– Fully charged heavy attacks buff the weapon with Ice Lightning.
– Also has the initial hitbox in Ice Lightning Sword and Lightning Slash when the buff
activates.
Hand of Malenia [a94 – NEW]:
– Now has unique 1 handed heavy attacks that uses animations from Malenia. Spin gracefully
and lunge fierce fully!
– Now has a unique 1 handed running heavy that uses animations from Malenia. Swing
extremely fast!

– Damage is slightly higher for the unique running heavy, but it doesn’t have as much range as
the regular running heavy.

Twinned Knight Swords [a120]:
– Now has the same unique heavy attacks as Eleonora’s Poleblade.
– Damage unchanged.

| [ AXES ] |
Jawbone Axe [a184]:
– Now has the same unique heavy attacks as the Monk’s Flamemace. Stomp and pump your weapon
while charging and slam down with mighty force.
– Damage unchanged.
Stormhawk Axe [a96 – NEW]:
– When in the right hand, gains a new powerstanced axe moveset!
– The unique powerstanced attacks has slightly sped up startup and extremely sped up the time
between attacking with each weapon.
– Damage unchanged.
– A note: I thought this was clever since the Stormhawk Axe is only ever seen powerstanced by
Nepehli Loux throughout the game and also the fact you can get more than one of these
axes in a playthrough.

| [ GREATAXES ] |
Great Omenkiller Cleaver [a97 – NEW]:
– Now has unique heavy attacks that continuously slam down the weapon! Meant to be similar
to one of the Omenkiller’s attacks.
– The unique heavy cannot be charged, and doesn’t have a second heavy attack.
– The unique heavy attack is slightly faster than a fully charged heavy, but there is no
uncharged option.
– The heavy attack cancels into right hand attacks very fast.
– Has increased distance traveled when locked on.
Axe of Godrick [a98 – NEW]:
– The weapon’s unique heavy attacks now have a wind projectile when fully charged!
– The wind projectile does small damage, but heavy stun.

| [ HAMMERS ] |
Monk’s Flamemace [a184]:
– The unique heavy attacks are now faster when charging.
– Now has hyperarmor on the one handed heavy attacks, and increased hyperarmor on the two
handed heavy attacks.
– Increased distance traveled on the first heavy attack when locked on.
– Damage unchanged.
Marika’s Hammer [a102 – NEW]:
– Now has unique heavy attacks that conjure gold to slam and swing! Uses animations from
Radagon of the Golden Order.
– Many thanks to Blubber515 for the retargeted animations from the Player Animation
Repository.
– The unique charged heavy attacks do not have a weapon hitbox, but instead, a small
AoE bullet that has the same damage as the charged heavy should be.
– The uncharged unique heavy attacks travel farther but don’t have the AoW bullet, just a
normal hitbox.
– Now has a unique running heavy attack that suddenly leaps forward and swings! Uses
animations from Radagon of the Golden Order.
– Damage unchanged.

| [ GREAT HAMMERS ] |
Large Club [a105 – NEW]:
– Now has the same heavy attacks as the Great Club with a few small changes.
– Recovery is slightly faster.
– Distance traveled increased when locked on.
– Damage unchanged.
Cranial Vessel Candlestand [a106 – NEW]:
– Now has unique 2 handed heavy attacks that shoot fire and explosions from
the head of the weapon. Inspired by certain attacks the Fire Prelates do.
– The unique heavy attacks no longer have a weapon hitbox, but shoot fire in different ways
if you charged or uncharged the attack.
– Charged Heavy shoots a long range fireball that has little tracking.
– Uncharged Heavy shoots an explosion that goes off immediately, right on the tip of the
weapon.
– The uncharged and charged bullets have the same damage values as the regular 2 handed
heavy attacks, so technically damage is unchanged.

| [ COLOSSAL WEAPONS ] |
Giant-Crusher [a197]:
– Sped up the uncharged first heavy so it is as fast as the regular Colossal Weapon uncharged
heavy, instead of it being barely different in speed compared to the charged version.
– Also added a little wind spin effect from Lion’s Claw.
– Damage unchanged.
Prelate’s Inferno Crozier [a196]:
– Sped up the uncharged first heavy so it is as fast as the regular Colossal Weapon uncharged
heavy.
– Sped up second charged heavy to match speed of regular 2nd charged heavy speed.
– Damage unchanged.

Cross-Naginata [a202]:
– Increased speed of startup on the first unique light attack.
– Damage unchanged.

| [ HALBERDS ] |
Dragon Halberd [a108 – NEW]:
– Now has unique heavy attacks that advance forward and strike with ice lightning! Uses
animations from the halberd wielding Banished Knight.
– Many thanks to Blubber515 for the retargeted animations from the Player Animation
Repository.
– Fully charging the heavy attacks buffs the weapon with Ice-Lightning, not charging the
attack will not buff the weapon.
– No longer has the repeating stab light attack chain (Not sure why it had that moveset
in the first place, especially with the giant axe blade on this halberd).

| [ SCYTHES ] |
Halo Scythe [a112]:
– Now has the same unique heavy attack as the Miquellan Knight Sword and Golden Epitaph.
– This also makes the heavy attacks much faster than other scythe heavy attacks.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
I do not intend for my mods to be merged with anyone elses but my own. I will not edit the mod specifically to be compatible with a mod that is not my own. If you wish to play any of my mods with another mod that isn’t compatible with mine, do not ask me to edit it personally for you, and just do it yourself. This mod in particular is incompatible with my own mods as well.

Final Note: As you probably notice, there’s a few weapon types I either barely made changes
to, or just left out. For those, I either don’t have much to work with, don’t like the
weapon type very much, or just don’t know how I would change things. In any case, I probably
won’t be making changes to those weapon categories in future updates either.

Installation:
Download ModEngine2 and set it up,
then put the “mod” folder from the MoreUniqueAttacks folder into the ModEngine2 folder.
