Keep Serpent-Hunter Spear special moveset
Makes you keep that special moveset of the Serpent Hunter Spear outside Rykkard fight, making it not so useless.
UPDATE: Now both files are for patch 1.303, so using the mod files instead of doing it yourself should work.
INSTALLATION 1:
1. First you need to find a way to bypass the anti-cheat, there’s more than one way here .
2. Use UXM to exatract your game files (just select the .exe and click the extract button). After that patch the .exe (also a button in UXM). After that your game is ready for modding, do not compress the files back, you need them extracted for mods to work.
3. Backup your “regulation.bin” ( it’s in the same folder of the .exe), and the “sfxbnd_commoneffects.ffxbnd” (it’s in the “sfx” folder).
4. You can either:
– Download this mod files and overwrite the ones in your folder (both regulation.bin and sfxbnd_commoneffects.ffxbnd).
or
– Edit them yourself.
5. The only change i’ve made in regulation.bin is in EquipParamWeapon ID 17030000 (which is the Serpent-Hunter Spear), change the ID of -1 to 1908 to one of three fields “passive SpEffect”. That will make the weapon have the moveset used in the fight. You can do this via Yapped, just check it out.
INSTALLATION 2:
1. Forget the steps 1-3 from “INSTALLATION 1”
2. Just use ModEngine for Elden Ring and place “Regulation.bin” inside your mods folder, then create an folder called “sfx” and put “sfxbnd_commoneffects.ffxbnd” inside it.
