Greases Apply To Both Weapons
Greases will apply to both your right and left hands when used.
Weirdness
- This will buff ANY melee weapon in your left hand. Weapons that normally can’t be buffed, and shields, will both receive the grease buff.
- Your left hand will stay buffed as long as your right hand weapon is out. So you can switch your left hand weapon and the new weapon will be buffed when equipped.
I will try to make this work with spells in the future, but it’ll be weird because you need one hand to hold the staff/seal when you cast it.
To Install
- Go to your Elden Ring install location and COPY your regulation.bin file somewhere else as a backup. This mod changes this file only.
- Download the regulation.bin file and drop it into your Elden Ring install location. Replace the existing regulation.bin file.
- Start the game offline or risk getting banned! Use this mod: https://www.eldenringmods.com/anti-cheat-toggler-and-offline-launcher/
Merging Manually:
- Duplicate all “Grease – Left” rows in SpEffectParam to new rows.
- In the new rows, set “Duration” to “1” for each of them.
- In each “Grease – Right” row, find field “Cycle SpEffect ID” and link the new “Grease – Left” row in that field.
- For example, you’d duplicate “Fire Grease – Left” to a new row, say 3201, set duration to 1, and then find “Fire Grease – Right”, and in the field “Cycle SpEffect ID”, type in the row number of the new row you added (in this case, 3201). Do that for each grease.
- It might help to open my regulation.bin and see how I did it.
