Thank you for installing my 1st Torrent replacement mod! A lot of love went into making it, and I hope that will be evident while you are using it.
****WARNING****
As with most mods, you will get banned if you use this online or have EAC enabled.
To ensure you don’t get banned, please take the necessary steps. I recommend just using ModEngine2 and launching the game using the .exe it provides.
I take no responsibility if you end up getting banned while using this mod. This is common knowledge, and you have been warned.
GENERAL INFORMATION
-This mod will conflict with any mods that alter the following files; c8000.anibnd.dcx, c8000.chrbnd.dcx, and c8000_h.texbnd.dcx
-Basically – don’t try to use it with any other Torrent mods and you should have no issues.
-The Reindeer can do EVERYTHING that Torrent can, since they share animations and information.
-This mod doesn’t use regulation.bin for anything, so you only need to install it once.
-When using the Normal version, while running, rarely will the fullbody spark VFX persist outside of the affected animation. Just walk Torrent a step or two to turn it off.
It’s something with a single specific animation that I cannot do anything about. I’ve tried, but it’s such a small thing, you should be fine!
I do not take mod requests.
VERSION INFORMATION
Lite: For lower end PCs or anyone who wants less VFX. This version only uses the smoke VFX.
Lite-ning: For lower end PCs or anyone who wants less VFX. This version only uses the lightning VFX.
Normal: This version contains all VFX; Lightning, smoke, and all that good stuff.
***If you don’t want any VFX at all, just delete the c8000.anibnd.dcx from the Lite version’s chr folder! I can’t say it’s gonna look pretty though…
INSTALLATION
ModEngine2 Install
1. Unzip the ER_DS2Reindeer.zip
2. Copy the folder of the version you wish to use and paste it inside of ModEngine2.
3. Add the folder name into your ModEngine2 loading list.
UXM Install
1. Unzip the ER_DS2Reindeer.zip
2. Open the folder of the version you wish to use; Lite or Normal
3. Copy the contents – the .dcx files – and paste them into your unpacked chr folder.
UPDATING
Simply follow the same steps as installing, but in reverse.
