This mod removes character name censoring from Elden Ring – others will see your name uncensored
Description
This mod removes character name censoring from Elden Ring – others will see your name uncensored. Naming yourself “Knight” will no longer show up as “K***ht” for other people looking at your character’s name.
Installation
- With Mod Engine
- Download and set up Mod Engine 2
- Put the “msg” folder from the mod archive into the “mod” folder
- With UXM
- Unpack your game data with UXM provided in the mod archive and patch the executable
- Put the “msg” folder from the mod archive into the “ELDEN RING\Game” folder, confirming the overwrite
Uninstallation
- With Mod Engine
Remove the files you placed in your “mod” folder in Mod Engine 2
- With UXM
Drop the files from “_backup” into your “ELDEN RING\Game” folder, confirming the overwrite
