Dragon King’s Cragblade – Enhanced
Injects the Cragblade with STYLE and LIGHTNING
My first proper weapon overhaul. This gives the cragblade 10 new moves and slightly changes a couple more. Relatively balanced.
TAE’s edited: 39 (Heavy thrusting swords), 121 (Godskin Peeler), 826 (Thundercloud form)
Yellow = 1.1 update
This will also affect the Godskin Peeler heavily.
Moveset Overview:
1-handed – Intended to be quick and utilitarian.
Running R2 – Lightning-infused bloodhound back-slash. Imbues weapon with lightning for 70 seconds.
Charged R2 – Quick horizontal double slash. Very sweepy.
Uncharged R2 – Quick double thrust.
Charged R2 #2 – Quick horizontal double slash. Also very sweepy.
Uncharged R2 #2 – Quick double thrust.
2-handed – Intended to be harder-hitting and more aggressive.
Running R2 – Lightning-infused bloodhound forward-slash. Imbues weapon with lightning for 70 seconds.
Charged R2 – Lightning-infused upward slash. Heavy damage, throws lightning. Imbues weapon with lightning for 70 seconds.
Uncharged R2 – Quick upward slash.
Charged R2 #2 – Heavy downward slash. Has AOE.
Uncharged R2 #2 – Quick right to left slice.
Ash of war – Now Imbues weapon with lightning for 70 seconds. Charge irrelevant. Charged variant now has a blast radius and additional SFX.
Misc changes
Some of the heavy thrusting sword moves have an added pokey effect for style, does nothing but add flavor.
The weapon will become buffed whenever you commit to one of the slower thundercloud moves.
Other notes:
For merging and such, 121 is the important one. the changes to 39 and 826 are largely irrelevant, although I may buff the AOW in the future (Done). Changing a weapon’s special motion category in yapped will give it the fancy moves, though some will do really BS amounts of damage. You have to edit the AtkParam_PC for the weapon class to fix that. The uncharged 1h R1’s use behavior 505 which is the culprit, drop the damage in yapped and its good to go. Charged 2h R2 uses 500 which is also weird but the damage is fine.
Installation:
Mod Engine
– Install mod engine
– unzip main file into mod folder
– launch through mod engine normally
– play through 90% of the game to get the cool weapon
UXM
– Technically you can use UXM, but I don’t recommend it, mod engine is far more simple to use.
– unpack, patch, overwrite, if you use UXM you should know the drill. regulation.bin goes in /game folder.
