This mod creates 6 new consumable items that act as +1 versions of the vanilla Great Runes, (with the exception of Mogh’s Great Rune, more on that later). These new runes:
– Stack with other +1 runes added by this mod.
– Do not require Rune Arcs.
– Cannot be used while a vanilla rune is active.
– Like vanialla runes; the buffs are lost upon death.
– Will not replace vanilla runes.
– Will not be removed on game completion.
– Can be crafted after activating the corresponding rune at a Divine Tower.
– Can be acquired from the Divine Towers, at the same time you acquire the vanilla runes.
WHY +1?
These new runes are not stronger than the vanilla runes, the +1 is just my way of easily distinguishing them from the originals, while also conveying their superiority.
CRAFTING/BALANCE:
For balance reasons the +1 runes must be re-crafted for 7,000 runes after each use. Meaning that it costs 42,000 runes to craft all 6. With all 6 runes active at once, depending on your build, you can become quite powerful. This seemed like the best way for me (at my modding skill level) to ensure these runes felt valuable, and weren’t so easy to use for the entirety of the game. This also lets the vanilla runes retain some use, as they only require Rune Arcs.
CRAFTING OVERFLOW:
These new runes can be stored in your storage chest, but you can only store 1 of each. These runes aren’t removed after completing the game, so if you have a stored set, and a set in your inventory, you get 2 sets of these runes to start with on your next playthrough.
MOHG’S GREAT RUNE:
I did take the liberty of buffing Mogh’s Great Rune since invasions aren’t a thing when playing modded Elden Ring, to make up for the reduced value of the rune. Mohg’s Great Rune now adds 2 to all attributes, similar to Godrick’s Great Rune. This also buffed the vanilla rune.
TRANSLATIONS:
I’ve not created the item descriptions for any language other than EngUS. That being said, the item descriptions are 99% identical to the vanilla great runes, with the exception being that the name has +1 at the end. If you’ve created item descriptions for these new runes in your preferred language, I can add your FMG files to this mod if you’d like. Also; I’d appreciate it.
CREDITS:
This is my first FromSoftware mod, and wouldn’t be possible without the tools and helpful information provided by the FromSoftware modding community. Thanks! This mod was also inspired by PATRICIO’s GREAT RUNES – GET THE POWERS OF THE LORDS.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: (If you need them)
I’ve packaged the expored CSV files from Yapped-Rune-Bear so you can merge this mod with other mods you might be using. I’ve also supplied the FMG files with the item description text. You would still need to use Yabber to compress the FMG files into your item.msgbnd.dcx file. I’ll provide some rough intructions below if you need them, but for more detailed guidance see Scrub Milk’s YouTube playlist on Modding Elden Ring.
