Black Elden Lich Armor

This mod will make the Black Knife armor set actually black with the cloak visible instead of transparent.
Added the vanilla colors version.

First of all, I’d like to thank Ifrit for being patience, he managed to get the cloak from the ghost realm to the physical realm.

A huge shoutout to actiontheory too for his Actually Black Knife Armor mod which started all this!

INSTALLATION

  1. (for vanilla colors just skip this) Download actiontheory’s original mod here and install it.
  2. Download this mod
  3. If you’re using UXM just put “bd_m_1610.partsbnd.dcx” file in the “parts” folder, overwrite if asked
  4. If you’re using ModEngine2 put “bd_m_1610.partsbnd.dcx” file in the “mod/parts” folder, overwrite if asked

NOTES
– The sword you see in the screenshots is this one, I’m using the Ghostflame version.

– The hidden face hood is not included because it uses a modded regulation.bin file, which is also used by many other mods for a lot of different reasons and is highly possible that you’re using a modded one already and mine wouldn’t be compatible with it.
There is this mod which does the same but is not updated to the latest game patch.
If you want to get this on your own regulation.bin than use Yapped and set to 1 all these values in EquipParamProtector/Black Knife Hood
Mask 00 – Hide upper front face
Mask 01 – Hide lower front face
Mask 02 – Hide middle front face
Mask 03 – Hide top and back of head
Mask 04 – Hide neck
Mask 60 – Hide hair scalp
Mask 61 – Hide hair low
Mask 63 – Hide hair top in
Mask 64 – Hide hair top out
Mask 65 – Hide hair front in
Mask 66 – Hide hair front out
Mask 67 – Hide hair sides
Mask 68 – Hide hair back
Mask 69 – Hide ponytail
(You can look on google how to use Yapped to edit your regulation.bin)

USELESS INFOS
As soon as I’ve found the Black Knife armor it was love at first sight (mostly), but it had something that didn’t convince me 100%. So I tried actiontheory’s mod which made so that the “black” word in the armor’s name had an actual meaning.
That, anyway, wasn’t enough: the transparent cloak was triggering me so bad I had to do something for it. So I started learning how to unpack and edit Elden Ring textures to fix that. I opened my photoshop, looked at the vanilla texture for the cloak, puked, and started working on a new, super detailed texture to use for the cloak. Saved it, repacked it, launched the game and… nothing changed…

Long story short, Ifrit saved my ass and made the cloak visible so I could put my fancy texture over it.

Now my edgy, bossy, bully aesthetic sense is satisfied and I can keep playing.

If you read this far, yeah you got it, I did this for personal use but I decided to share it (like 99% of mods are born, basically). Now go play the damn game!

P.S. sorry for any incorrect use of the english language I may have done.
