Installation:
It is highly recommended that you download and install ModEngine2 for ease of installation of this mod. Attempting to outright replace the game’s regulation.bin file will get you banned from online play, and in some cases prevent any play of the game altogether. You can get ModEngine2 here.
After installing ModEngine2, navigate to the “mod” folder in the extracted archive. From there, simply extract this mod’s “regulation.bin” file into the “mod” folder, and run the game using ModEngine2’s “launchmod_eldenring.bat” file.
Uninstallation:
Remove the modified “regulation.bin” from ModEngine2’s “mod” folder
Compatibility:
If you are using other mods that modify the regulation.bin file, you will need to merge them with my mod’s regulation.bin file using the method of your choice. I have included an optional archive download containing relevant CSV files, but I have never merged a “regulation.bin” file before. Since this is my very first time modding, I unfortunately can’t really make a recommendation here. Furthermore, I make no guarantees of compatibility with full-blown overhaul mods, or any mod that modifies the crafting system in some way.
