Boss Resurrection

Elden Ring Mods |

Boss Resurrection

Overview
Adds the ability to resurrect bosses at any grace, in exchange for 1 Ruin Fragment.

The resurrection list is found under the “Boss Resurrection” option in the top-level menu. The bosses are split into their respective geographical areas, with the field bosses being under the regional location name.

Selecting a boss from the list will bring up a sub-menu that tells you if they are alive or dead, their general location. If they are dead, the option to resurrect them will appear here.

Issues

To keep the mod light and easy to merge, it does not enforce restrictions on location when resurrecting a boss. This means a player can resurrect a boss within their arena, if it hosts a grace, and then rest again at the grace and glitch the fight. In most cases the boss fight will still start if you go near the entrance trigger.
However, if you want to avoid issues, make sure you only resurrect from a normal grace, .e.g. not one that appears after a boss kill.

Compatibility

The mod only includes the essential files needed for it to function, meaning it should be easily added into other gameplay mods as long as they don’t edit the following files:
script/talk/m00_00_00_00.talkesdbnd.dcx – Holds the menu code.
msg/engus/menu.msgbnd.dcx/EventTextForTalk.fmg – Holds the text strings used by the menu.

The mod only supports English localization. If you play in a different language, you will need to switch the English to use the mod properly.
