3 Atmospheric Shaders for Elden Ring by SkonteJonte
I’m both SkonteJonte and deffpkr1234, just to be clear.
In any case, Elden Ring has arrived!
I’ve made plans to release this early because I believe and hope that people will notice the effort I put into my ReShade presets.
I’d be grateful if you could take a look at this.
I hope you enjoy my three different presets.

TURN THE PRESET OFF IN THE MAIN MENU. You can change the hotkey in the options (I usually bind it to “scroll lock”).
This mod uses, across all 3 versions:
– sharpening: This highlights distant details and also smaller details of closer
objects. The specifics and intensity change between versions.
– General colour and brightness manipulation: This one is pretty different between versions. I generally
slightly increased the vibrance and saturation (except for the dark and gritty one). I also made the shadows and blacks a bit darker and, lastly, changed the colour tint slightly.
– light rays: I love light rays, and I think that by adding them here (the game already contains them) it becomes more dynamic and feels like it is present more. Haha, I don’t know why.
– a strange thing: I can’t remember the name of it, and it’s really new. It makes bright
and dark areas affect areas around them, making it more of the
co-responding trait.
Installation:
– For this mod, you will need a program called “ReShade”.
– When you are going to select the rendering api it uses, select DirectX 10 and above.
– Additionally, install (it shows up in the normal installation process) all shader packs. Just check all the boxes.
– To activate the shader, you need WinRar. Just unpack what you installed
from this mod page, then place it where you want it. To activate it,
you need to open ReShade and at the top of the long list of effects,
just double-click on the preset name and find it in your files. There
are tutorials on how to do this too, if it is confusing.
